beware of predators when people offer help

 Especially housing or anything else that will give them access to you alone away from people seeing what's going on.

 It's very easy for vulnerable people to be abused or exploited by predatory or sick people. Especially when dealing with housing and anything that gives predators a way to exploit someone and outsiders can't see what's going on.

Always look for red flags like motives that would be practical  (staying out of jail especially drugs or anything sexual, avoiding being exposed for something, needing material things they can't afford, wanting research funding especially in academia or sciences, being in debt especially gambling debts or shopping addiction are just some examples). 

The secondary motive is usually personal like personality disorder, stalking behaviors, narcissism, outright psychopathy or being sadistic, hatred for a specific demographic of people (different genders,  gays, straight people, different races etc)  The person acts out of self interest with the main practical motive but they also get to indulge in sick behaviors that give them pleasure or relief due to their personal issues. The stalking system is very good at profiling people and they seem to know which people would be good candidates for these activities.

There's another group which is people motivated by coercion or intimidation.  These people simply cannot refuse work harassing people or even being part of a gang stalking group because they are agreeing to do so under duress.

 These situations would be people who are on parole or probation, targeted persons who get offered jobs as stalkers in order to stop being targeted individuals, people in gang stalking groups that seem to be victims of the kinds of  control over people used in cults,

Ive been living under these conditions increasingly over the past few years and there have definitely been red flags and potential motives from both practical and personal motive categories.  

It's very likely that a targeted individual will become entangled.with a dangerous person, someone who is desperate that will exploit them or even try to destroy them on behalf of the gang stalking system. 

The person will never be genuine with you and they will always see you as an opportunity not as a person. They will take everything they can. Remember these people get rewarded for keeping you down, away from your goals and destroying you. It's important for them to either keep up outward appearances or to over time make it appear as if they aren't screw ups but you are mentally ill or a bad person etc. 

This is also something I've been living with for the past few years and I did not understand how bad the situation was and how the abuse would escalate. 

Never forget that even if you personally have your affairs in order and feel you are protected, there's always a pit of snakes waiting  to snatch up anyone close to you or that you become involved with and put them to work for the 'gang stalking' system.

 I've also discovered something that occurs over the long term with people who are successful in getting a target into their clutches and then manipulating them over time. The experience of having power over someone as well as most likely grooming from those around them or the stalking system, allows these people to become successful but it's much more a case of masking. Those around them may not understand they are only appearing to do better because of your efforts or because they are using you to do so and they will dismiss any concerns you expresss. It's especially tempting for people who have had to deal with a dysfunction person to not want to deal with that reality and gladly take any improvements at someone else's expense but also it's easier to blame the victim.  

Especially if they are drug addicts it seems they will begin to claim they are no longer using drugs and appear to become more healthy, functional and responsible. This is especially important for them if custody of children is involved masking will help them attain that goal and placate the legit system into believing they are not doing anything irresponsible. 

The perpetrator will escalate the abusive situation by manipulating by appearing to outsiders  that they are in the right after tormenting and manipulating  a targeted person to appear as mentally ill or a bad person. This is especially true if they already have it in their personality to be narcissistic, psychopathic or sadistic. 

It's also dangerous if the person doesn't have alot of status or friends and they can also use abuse of the targeted person to heighten status or gain a larger friend group.

I've discovered that many people are either weak to being coerced or can be 'brainwshed' over time. Don't trust that people will be genuine with you and stay trustworthy unless they can afford to.
