'vomit fraud' is happening to a lot of people. There was even a Newsweek article on it so it's gotten to the level of a respectable mainstream publication.
Drivers are scamming Riders by submitting fees for cleaning after a passenger leaves the vehicle when there's no mess or damage at all.
Don't be surprised if this is accompanied by a false claim by the Driver that the Passenger was drinking alcohol in the vehicle becuz this is probably done so that it makes their clean up fee seem more credible and also it serves as intimidation of the Rider to hopefully dissuade them from fighting the bogus fee.
Be very aware this is happening to a lot of people in Uber and Lyft. Take photos of backseat before u exit vehicle and gently explain to your Driver why you are doing it.
Any honest driver will understand as they have nothing to hide and it will also make a dishonest Driver think twice before submitting bogus claims. You can also weave into a short conversation that you don't drink and you have a good support network that's aware of this. I notice that Drivers who pull this scam will chat with the Rider as well as the content of the conversation reveals they aren't stable people to begin with.
I suppose this could be used to harass a Target but it could also be used as a 'bait and wait' tactic hoping a TI carelessly expose information about the situation in the wrong forum etc to discredit themselves or make any countering the fraud claim more difficult.
Also, if you are stupid enough to pull this crap on me ..don't forget who my family is and who my friends used to be.
Be very fucking careful
There may also be other more...long term consequences

"Allah the Almighty says in Surah an-Nahl, verse 105:
“Only they forge the lie who do not believe in Allah’s communications, and these are the liars.” (Surah an-Nahl 16:105).
And in Surah az-Zumar it is mentioned:
“Surely Allah does not guide him aright who is a liar, ungrateful.” (Surah az-Zumar 39:3).
It can be understood from the verses of the Qur’an that a liar calls for divine curse and invites the anger of Allah (S.w.T.)."
For example:
“... and pray for the curse of Allah on the liars.” (Surah Ali- Imran 3:61).
And also:
“... the curse of Allah be on him if he is one of the liars.” (Surah an-Nur 24:8).
